Getting High: Yoga, Meditation, and the Infinite Pharmacy Within

At Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health,

March 9-11, 2012.

To achieve true freedom from negative behaviors and thoughts, it is often necessary to move stuck energies out of the body and release stuck belief patterns from the mind and heart. Thankfully, these practices are readily available to us in the form of yoga and meditation.

Addiction to alcohol, drugs, food, or plain old negative thinking can be worked with in a positive way, using the natural high that comes from yoga and meditation. These practices lead to increased energy, a greater sense of fulfillment, and healing for ourselves and the world. Tap into the source of wisdom, healing, and love that resides within each of us as our truest self—an infinite pharmacy of peace and well-being. This weekend journey focuses on movement intertwined with breath, and includes vinyasa flow, Kundalini Yoga, pranayama, meditation, journaling, music, and fun. Whether you are in recovery or don’t yet realize that all of us are, this workshop is for you.

Is the program at Kripalu open for my 16 y/o son? He completed a 75 day wilderness program last summer and yoga was a part of it that he fully enjoyed.

    Thank you. Jenn
